After retiring from the military, Angelo continued his life of service and work in his community as an Emergency Medical Technician, in parking enforcement, as a utility locator, and as a correctional officer. He understands the concerns of everyday working people as well as the challenges of veterans transitioning into civilian life.
Angelo Joyner's two decades of military service were grounded in responsibility, discipline, and caring for others. During 20 years of service—including 18 years as a combat medic and four tours in Iraq—he served in demanding environments where preparation, teamwork, and sound judgment mattered.
